Thank you Jhon.
I was on my way out of an exhibition about photo manipulation from the beginnings until today. Very interesting.

This photo was done last Thursday following an extended period of rain and flooding in the area.  It tends to confuse viewers and mess with their perception although it's a straight shot with only dodging for shadow retrieval on the left and burning-in of the right side of the image in Lightroom following a run through Silver Efex.  D700 with 35/2 AI lens.

Nikon Z6 - Nikkor 500mm AI P f/4   (sharp detailed lens, pretty impressive for a handheld shot)  Weight is about the same as the Nikkor AF-I 300/2.8

It tends to confuse viewers and mess with their perception

Consider my perception thoroughly messed! I have to concentrate to see past the illusion. Well done!

Horrific. But I guess this is art in a gross manifestation.

Using the "super-speed" f/0.75 lenses requires one to rethink what a photo is. Or rather, ponder upon one's visions and expressions of the former.

It's like seeing all new again. Refreshing.

Z9, Rodenstock 50mm f/0.75. With the long hood on the lens, the projected image circle is more crisply defined and fits nicely within the FX frame as its diametre is 23mm.
