Olivier - you are quite correct. Position and vantage point is so important with babies - and I am not the worlds best baby shooter to begin with... Problem was I was shooting in a space so full of stuff - I had to stand wide legged over a crate of wine, avoid the softbox in my view, or I was in front of the light which was just as bad, and shoot over the foot of the bed which was a foot high - so I had very little space to move or change postion.
Why do you think I prefer my gear to shooting babies... I nearly broke my back trying to shoot this thing..
