Indeed we had quite a bit of freezing rain, hail and snow last night, melted again in the daytime.

Amersfoort City Beach Bar "Zandfoort aan de Eem" awaiting spring and summer. The name is a nod to the Dutch beach town Zandvoort aan de Zee.

Typical daffodil activity for this time of year in my location (southern Oklahoma, U.S.). Most years blooms follow in the second week of February, however in 2021 a -25° (-13°F) frost killed all flowering action by early members of the narcissus family.

Blue hour and heavy snowfall -- captured with my new 400mm f/4.5 Z on the Z fc. Handheld at 1/6 sec as well; the lens is a rare combination of light weight and nice handling even on the small Z fc. Even better with the Z9 of course, but I had left that camera body elsewhere when the snowfall commenced.

Splendid !

Woke up to clear skies after last night's snowfall. So the view from our living room was slightly different :)

First morning light imposes warm pale pink and red hues onto the distant hillsides.

Nikkor 400mm f/4.5 Z, Z9, hand held.
Birna  congrats on your new lens! Hope to see more shots :)
