Thanks Akira and Hugh!
Wow, is it a wild one?!
No, as Hugh says they are Scottish Highland cattle. They are probably put there for nature care purposes. They are behind a simple wired fence and I think it was possible to visit them - I've read they are friendly but very protective of their calves which I guess is the case for all cattle.
A red headed beauty indeed - nicely captured in its environment.
It looks alike a highland cattle beast (from Scotland). Is there a similar variety in your country?
As far as I've read, you are correct and they should be unmistakable. To my knowledge we have 3 "classic" cattle species in Denmark and none similar to the Scottish Highland - we have a variegated black/white cow, red cows and a third one which is a red English species. And lot of imported species - about 40 different I've read.
