This road was put up as an access road to a large development project, trying to turn agricultural field into building site for residential housings. Of course such fields are very easy to develop and hence immensely popular for planners, if you just ignore the percentage of arable land in Norway is barely 3% and in no way sufficient for producing enough food for the population. Thus these developments add to the non-sustainability of our near future.
The plans might have been thwarted at the last moment, as the road literally leads into nowhere. From access road straight into agricultural fields.
A fascinating topic for me to explore as it is in my neighbourhood and thus lends itself to repeated photographic approaches. Here in IR 850nm using the reliable non-hot-spotting Zoom-Nikkor 28-45mm f/4.5 on my full spectrum Z5. Dark clouds in the horizon signal an incoming thunderstorm. Even in my current 'brain-fog' Covid-induced state of mind, I couldn't miss the opportunity.
