Nice to see a reflex lens getting a proper review! Though I disagree with his conclusion.  >:(

Light weight for a long focal length is a blade that cuts two ways. Mostly in a bad way dare I say.

I'd be curious to see (i.e. experience) how far a stabilized sensor would increase the usability of these funny lenses. Now I got so many of them: Tamron 500/8 (my first), Rokinon 500/6.3, Nikkor 500/8N (from the Nikon shop in Ginza), Nikkor 500/8C (a gift)...

I have a 100x100mm Kenko ND100000 filter and a Lee square filter holder for 77mm thread.  This Tokina reflex with 67mm filter thread can be tempting for my kit to shoot the sun.
