Thank you, Birna!  Wow, this is a beautifully bizarre lens!  If there are no refractive elements and only reflective elements in the lens, it could be for UV, perhaps?

It can do UV as well. However, the Z fc doesn't do UV so I have to forego the "long" reach" and add extension as as to make the lens fit a more sculptured camera shape.

The closest distance of the Voigtlander Lanthar 50mm f/2.8 is only 1 meter.  To get closer Voigtlander sold the close up lenses  'Focar'  (32mm)   I got the number two, in the original packing of 1968, when the price was 12 guilders and 50 cent...

Thank you, Hans.  Glad you like it.  This is a small part of Japanese plum tree growing from the ground.  So, the flowers will turn into plum fruits.

Still not the ambient conditions I had hoped for, and that my hands can tolerate for any period of time. Anyway, this is a view across the delta at Nordre Øyeren, the largest inland delta in Northern Europe. We can observe only a small and compressed sliver of it through the power of the 360-1200mm Nikkor lens. Thus, the depth of the view in fact is about 4km, with the nearest parts around 1 km away and the conifer forest in the background is >5km away.

Norway spruce Picea abies is now actively invading the usually birch-dominated islands and levées of the delta platform. This conifer is a "late" invader to Norway and has only been here for < 2.000 years. The current rise in temperature has opened up a wave of dispersal of this species to formerly non-optimal habitats.

Actually, the colours are quite accurate as seen by the naked eye. The birch crowns get redder and redder towards the spring leafing, and the blue light prevailing from a bleak winter sky makes the aerial perspective distinctively blue. The massive compression of the scene brought about by the very long focal length (1200mm here) just intensifies the colour impression.
