Thank you, Bruno. For some reason, I see photography in general as a process of abstraction. Even though the subject is very concrete like landscapes or portraits, you are converting 3D subjects to 2D images, which could be seen as a way of abstraction.
Indeed, indeed. I'm thinking here about specific abstraction classes where the tool itself introduces an additional layer on top of the 2D mapping, like a fisheye or optical aberrations, distortion, etc ...
I'm more and more found of the different "distance" the lens/camera contraption introduces in the picture. I used to toy a lot with weird lenses (X-ray, catadioptric, scope ..) and flare or ghosting. Totally unlike what I'm usually posting, I know ...
