Thanks for the enthusiastic comment, Paco. It was captured from a moving vehicle on the way to another destination at the tail of some stormy weather. I only had a few seconds to take in the view and make the shots, so it was nice to be able freeze this special moment in an image.

I feel there is a special something in the light here in Cádiz.

Quite juxtaposition here!

Geothermal power plant at Blue Lagoon in Iceland (with AW1).

What a great contrast Paco and Øivind

I've never been to Cadiz, but I have gone swimming in Iceland's Blue Lagoon.
Took some doing, getting into swimming trunks in 5°C breeze (though once in the water, I never wanted to get out)

Summer flowering shrubs will sometimes throw up the occasional bloom albeit off season.

Yet another month with lots of fantastic images, thank you all for the inspiration.

My figs are unfortunately not going to be ripe, as winter is approaching, we have had lots this year.
The tree is from Bornholm, they do manage the cold winters in Denmark.

On the steepest funicular railway in the Tokyo area!

Nikkor UD 20mm on Z6ii. Camera was in manual mode, and the lens wasn't focussed. I just grabbed it when the other train passed.

Lovely.

I trained as a graphic designer, but I am color blind! Many graphic designers are color blind, and in a way it helps them see ‘design’ and not just colors. But for me it was a killer. I couldn’t specify the correct colors to printers, and I got hosed by my boss. So I retired from that career when I was 21!

But even though I am blind to them, I can see their beauty, and it’s there in your image :-)
