Of course a member can start the monthly 'blog' if admins are not present (I was on the road to more aquatic plants :) ).

However, it is recommended one copies the conditions set forth in the normal monthly opening thread and adds those to the initial post.

Only the admins can lock the previous month thread.

Thank you, Birna, for the reminder of the rule to start a monthly blog.  I added the conditions.

Am looking forward to seeing some snippets of your further research of the aquatic plants.

Nicely endearing image of lotus.

I found the hidden RGB and infinity instead of the hidden 13.    :o

Thank you David. This is on a walk I do every time I have a chance, which is rare now as I am stuck at home teaching online, and it has rained for about four weeks now.

I have done this walk almost a 1000 times over the last 15 years, so now I just have an eagle eye for the details. I am also kind of addicted to the widest aperture on the fastest lenses now. Unfortunately it results in images where it is not easy to find anything in focus! But that matches my eyes ;-)

Armando, the eye contact makes the image much more interesting indeed.

Interesting plant-gripping-fence action shot. The compositions works from the first impact

Thank you golunvolo.

You are quite correct. The flower was about 5cm away from the fence before the thundershower. Plants do indeed actively engage with their environment.
