Lovely light blending Akira. So well balance it goes into the realm of illustration

Thank you, Paco.  That's exactly why I return to this same framing over and over again.

That's a spirally mesmeric image Eric!

Jule

A very striking image Frank, plus a superb example of flare-control.
I hope Jule was pleased :)

To John, Fons, David and Paco, thank you for your kind words

A well seen and presented harmony.

The main reason for this Paco was I've had almost 10 weeks of dealing with builders, then more recently painting and decorating what they've been building. So I grabbed a few days away in the beautiful rustic county of Dorset in the south of the UK.

The break did me a power of good and re-opened my "seeing eyes"
This was taken after the first good night's sleep I'd had in a while. Nature just called out and said "hey, what about me?!"  :)

This is not meant to be a compelling image. I was simply playing with my new Z6 and learning how it handles manual focus. This was without any image magnification and using a 105mm f/2.5. My AI lenses will being seeing more use from now on!

This year on the Aquatic Plant Tour we have been troubled a lot by bad weather and strong wind. in particular the latter is irritating my eyes and making manual focussing problematic. Thus I had to resort using the Z6 with native lenses - and AF -for a change.

Today we sought relief in a retro-styled 'diner' café  down the southern coastline where I captured this with Z6 + 85mm f/1.8 Z
