Hello to everyone in NG.
My name is Konstantinos (Kostas for short). I 've been into photography for about 10 years (now on my 42).
Gear (Nikon for the most part) is (perhaps unfortunately in the form of GAS) a significant part of my photo journey.
Slowly, however, I try to let go of technique/gear and embrace aesthetics.
DSLR wise I am Nikon. DX: DH2s + D500 / FX: D700 / D800 / D750 and an accompanying pack of Nikon and 3rd party lenses from 8mm up to 500mm (and everything between).
On mirrorless I went to Canon with the lovely M100, with mostly adapted Nikon and Canon lenses.
On bridge I use a Sony RX10 mkI. On the fence whether to keep it or not.
For (mainly) B&W film I (sparingly) use a Leica R4.
Finally I recently added to the collection a Polaroid Procam which is a nice party trick to have.
In terms of subjects, although I try not to pigeonhole myself, I like shooting theater (when I am allowed), but I don't turn down the odd wedding, baptism or commercial shoot etc. I would consider myself as a 'wrecked hobbyist'
. I am not a pro photographer.
Once again happy to be hear and exchange views on all things photograpy.
K
