By the side of the road

I stopped the car when this cuddly fellow ran across in front of me to climb into a tree. I was i the Strathbogie Ranges looking for things to photograph.

They can run? wow.

For us they are truly exotic - we only have lions running across the road here !

I would have liked the background just a tad more out of focus :)

Didn't have any time to look at camera settings as he shot up the tree like bullet after staring at me for 3 seconds .

Since I was a kid and some "Down under" friends of my parents gave me a Koala teddy bear I dream of going to the land of Wallabies and Koalas... :-)

I'm also surprised to learn they can run, seeing them on TV , they always seem relax and slow moving
