Nice use of the separation possible with the 105 f/1.4 Frank. It works both in colour and b/w, with the separation even more dramatic in the b/w due to more use of contrast.

I prefer the B&W tack room version. Better surpression of the unsharp foreground element.

I choose the color version, which I find beautiful. If I had made the B&W, I would try to make it softer and less contrasty. Wich to my eye would be more pleasing. But then again, who needs B&W when color does the job so well!

yes, color rendition is the word, when it comes to the D850. That is her main point over previous cameras. The D500 does a great job in this respect, the 850 outperforms it. With the 600 I would have gotten a green or orange soup.
