Some type of Geranium or cranesbill, looks like a PS editing process the background looks declarified.Why?

I did put a fairly heavy vignette around it.it was also taken against a dark background

Grahame, beautiful setting. Your images is very under exposed. I assume you tried to get the background as dark as possible?

Fading flowers in fading light.. I like it. I assumed that the density was a deliberate choice, since not all existing light is bright, even though camera meters want us to make it so. Focus falloff seems natural, and the vignette did not register it's presence to me. Nicely done!
