Hello...
« on: November 08, 2016, 04:23:01 »
Howdy from the Pacific NW (Seattle area)

Just joined after reading about this site in a Nikon camera guide

First started using Nikon gear back in the mid-80s, started with an FG-20, then on to an N2020, N6006, F100, F6, and just recently decided to get started in FX digital with a D700.  I also have a Fuji XS-1 (DX) which is a fun hybrid camera to play with.

I work in the commercial airplane business as a systems engineer.

My main interests in photography are motorsports, aviation, and I'd love to try some technical and portraiture !

Hi Darkstar7,  Welcome from the other side of Earth.  Either your parents were weird or you have another name .  Darkstar7 is a bit of  mouthful  ;).   The D700 is a fine camera, love it for portraits.  Use, with a grip for Soccer.  Enjoy the site and post some images. Many members using multiple systems so feel free to post your Fuji images.
Cheers,
Tom

Welcome to NG, Mark. Get familiar with the site, join discussions, contribute photos, have a good time.

We do prefer people showing their full name either in the user name or in the signature. Makes it easier to communicate in that manner.
