Obviously you can get very near to these birds. Super HD rendering.

love the first shot esp. Huge feet for such a small body. The backdrop of abundant flowers add to it!

The birds in Regent's Park are wild, but they are very accustomed to people, so close encounters are common.  Sometimes herons walk through a group of people, and the people give way.

Very nice series of cuteness. Love especially the first one with the big foot and the one with the swimming nest and the baby gown chicks.

Anthony, you have put your 100-400mm to good use and produced a very nice set of images.

I think that the first with the cute bird and its big feet stepping out amongst the sea of daiseys has something special.  Nice management of DOF.

I am very happy with the 100-400, and hope that the upcoming X-T2 will AF more quickly than the current camera.
