
1 soft box at near minimum power so I could open the aperture , I think the effect is quite pleasant
Usually the studio lights (2, but often 4) are at or near full blast , and photos are taken at F/8 .. F/13 depending how the far the light is from the model, with white walls and ceiling the light bounces and it just floods the space, often I'm sharing the studio and the costs and seems most photographers that I work with want to capture every little detail in the model and clothes, since I shoot just for fun I rather use wider apertures.
Yesterday I helped one of the studio owners to AF fine tune a new camera, took me 5 mins, I was given time on my own with the model at the end of a group session, I had the freedom to set the light to my liking.
