The Zf tends to front focus is my at the moment conclusion!
Which is really noticeable when there are many elements in the frame.
The Z28mm f/2.8 is even worse as a lens and besides flares heavily.
Correction, cant handle dynamic light!
The 40mm is a lot better lens imo.
I just read that the issues may be linked to using eye AF and VR linked to focus position - something I have set it to do.
I haven't yet had more issues than I'd expect but last Sunday when using eye AF on a group of people from further away I had a few misfocused photos.
Actually we might better discuss this further in the Zf thread.

Unmitigated disaster of a different kind. This is what you get when one of the tiles of the shutter curtain of the Z9 believes itself being independent.

(it is stuck and I don't care much for the resulting "crop!!)
