It's a preamp for a bass guitar, made in Japan by Beyond Bass, using a 12AU7 tube
LOL, Colin, I've seen the real thing as well. The preamp is well reputed, but I, for one, would prefer a solid state pre- and power amplifires except for Ampeg SVT and B-15.
