I am envious of everything - except for the ticks.  Ticks are a big issue for those on the land with having to treat ones sheep & cattle for ticks (and also for lice).  They are not nice to humans either.

Been off the grid for a while now. The reason is the annual vacation on an isolated island with no net facilities whatsoever, which really adds to the charm of the place.

The laid-back Scandinavian style of enjoying nature.... There are no other people nearby so skinny dipping is mandatory. We share the island with seagulls, honey bees, roe deer, and ticks.
