Tried the PDTT out at full height today albeit indoors. It felt really stable with a Z6 + Z35mm mounted!
It was very nearly too tall for me. The Arca-Swiss plate is as you know is really quick to clip in and out it also locks securely in place on this t-pod.
It looks quite spindly when deployed but doesn’t feel wobbly at all. It is also very easy to stretch the leg to the required length!
The supplied case is a snug fit, but well made. Also supplied is a plastic box to put everything in which again is a snug fit, which at least it stops the tripod rattling around!
I continue to be impressed by the PDTT.
Before you go, you might want to take it outdoors, in a good wind, to see how it does. Center columns are notorious in such conditions, and can deliver quite disappointing results.
