A short trip up the Bosphorus

One of my fondest memories of Istanbul was of an afternoon I took a boat trip up the Bosphorus.

At the dock, we cast off:

Leaving the city behind:

As always, tea is served:

Past ancient fortifications:

And riverside homes:

And finally a return to Istanbul's Galata Bridge in the afternoon

It would be nice to travel there again, but it is nearly 30 years in the past and no boats are going that direction:
