Actually we have a place in Norway where you are able to photograph UFO's. It's called Hessdalen and it's not far from where I live. They do nonstop scientific research on the observed light phenomen. http://www.hessdalen.org/

Based on the weather I learned in pilot training, that's a lenticular cloud.

The conditions that produce it also create a lot of turbulence.

Any cows were sucked up years ago.  There is no livestock around there.  UFO's in Norway, they are entitled to their share.  In the US we can go to Roswell, New Mexico, the possible home of Area 51.  I was there about 20 years ago.  Don't bother.  Yeah, that is definitely a lenticular cloud.  I should have realized it earlier.  A treat from nature.  As you can see the water was calm, but the weather went bad a few hours later.
