Adobe practically raises price for CC photograpy plan

I received a message this evening from Adobe informing me that my monthly Photoshop subscription has jumped from $A14.29/month (~$US9.45) to $A23.99/month (~$US15.87).

Whilst $23.99/month is not going to send me broke, a 68% increase  is still a pretty steep price hike. 

I understood from Adobe that the yearly cost (payment in advance) will not change. But perhaps only valid in the Netherlands:

"Starting January 15, 2025, the price of the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan with 20 GB of storage will increase in all countries.

Annual membership, billed monthly: $5 increase, from $9.99 to $14.99 per month.
Annual membership, prepaid: No increase, price remains $119.88 per year."

In addition: "The Creative Cloud Photography plan (20 GB) will be discontinued on January 15, 2025, and is no longer available to new subscribers. However, Adobe will continue to offer existing plans until users decide to cancel. "

I need to use about seven different Adobe programs (but never Lightroom—and particularly its excessive use of DRAM and storage space —for which I have an intense and longstanding dislike!) so I need and use the full "All-in" Adobe Plan. That is going-up by about $10 a month but this is the first increase they have made in about 20 years so it seems fair.

I can't make up my mind as to whether I love or hate Adobe right now but the amazing new masking tools and colour-rendition in ACR has forced me to re-edit every single photograph that I have ever taken!

Hugh, are you paying monthly?  If I understand correctly, the subscription fee for the "Photographer Plan"  should remain fairly the same if you switch to pay yearly before your current subscription expires.

Data point: My yearly "Photography Plan" (LR + LRc + PS + Bridge) didn't go up in price in the June 2025 renewal.
