Sachtler fsb8t
« on: March 23, 2023, 00:09:38 »
I have just received a speedlock carbon tripod with the fsb 8t head in good condition and for a very nice price. I tried it today and I can't be more happy. It is a big jump in quality and smoothness compared to my previous manfrotto video head.
The question is,  I'll like to use it with my arca-swiss gear. I have ordered this clamp: https://www.ebay.com/itm/325352247040?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20211130125621%26meid%3Dc61889bfa78942bea8a7e3fcfcd2d496%26pid%3D101465%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D325352247040%26itm%3D325352247040%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D3650466%26brand%3DiShoot&_trksid=p3650466.c101465.m3507

Any idea for adapters or modifications are welcome.

Congrats with a great head.
I have a DV6SB that is an older version with about the same secifications. I use one of these
https://www.ebay.com/itm/182850313923 with a long clamp fastened with 3 screws (2x 3/8"). At least my rig is not hold together with just one 1/4" screw.
There is no illusion, it just looks that way.

Thank you Asle. I'm very happy with it. Your option will work for me too. I just ordered one.
