Hello everybody!
I am a long time Dpreview member and occasional forum participant under the same nickname as here - grevture. But I do spend (or waste as some would argue) most of my online time and effort at Fotosidan, a Swedish general purpose photo community - same nickname there.
I am a part time freelance photographer (sports, corporate events, general PJ stuff), part time freelance technical translator and - please don't judge me to harshly over this - a part freelance time technical journalist writing reviews and other assorted articles of everything from home routers to camera gear. As the typical tech journalist the scope of my knowledge tend to be more of "a little of everything" rather then "all about something".
Where I feel most at home in photography is trying to document something or someone in really crappy light and under preassure to deliver images fast. I am not well known for producing well thought out, beatifully concieved, captured and postprocessed artistic images. Rather ... Well, the opposite.
My personal gear are a couple of beat up D3 cameras, a slightly less worn D3s and my lenses are the the usual suspects for a PJ style shooter. And through work a s tech journalist I get to shoot with a bewildering assortment of cameras and lenses of all brands and types.
Anyhow, I hope I can make contributions to discussions.
Cheers,
Martin

Very interesting. My profession as writer and photographer since I started after university in 1995 links me to you.
looking forward to your contributions.
The D3 is a great camera and for 1000 a pop a dirt cheap machine.
I bought one new a few month after it was available and still love it.
For tripod work I prefer the D600. Much better resolotion and great IR remote.
wellcome!!!!
PS my pro shots are people architecture and my favourite is food

Sort of, Grev Turegatan, where I used to live up until 2002 :)

I'll try my best :)
Right now having a A7 II and Milvus 21, 35 and 50 sitting here next to my keyboard. Not Nikon stuff, but interesting in their own way :)

I'm certain members would like to learn your experiences, in particular with these lenses.

Welcome grevture, and I am always interested in photography gear :) Any brand any era!

Hi grevture, welcome!
I hope you might share some of your low light / available light work.
This is an area of interest for me as well.
Just recently I acquired a 50/1.2 Nikkor to improve my gear for winter light conditions.
