Yes it was, lol. I remember the scene, Truman and MacArthur met onboard a ship in the Pacific and argued about the Korean War and using nuclear weapons on China.

LOL ... noooooo. This was back in the 1970's. Whatever Nikkor f/4 300mm lens Nikon made, this was it.

No f/4 in that focal length in the '70s, but 300/4.5 Nikkor-H (or -P) existed.

300mm 4.5 ED-IF is from 78 :) but OK it was not IF I understand!
