Interesting - which Fuji model is this? The 20 Nikkor AF doesn't do UV but should be OK for IR.

(I have the original S3Pro UVIR, plus an S5Pro modified to broad-band usage)

This is the Fuji IS Pro which is based on the Fuji S5 Pro (and Nikon D200)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FinePix_IS_Pro

The advantage is that I know by now how to process the Fuji S5 RAF- raw files ...   And how to handle this 'unique' camera...

But now in the learning-mode  to  create and process IR and UV files...

Congratulations -- the Fuji S5Pro has plenty of "soul" so likely the IS version has as well :D

You might even pull off the occasional visible-light shot with it when combing a UV/IR cut filter and BG-38 or similar (to restore some of the colour balance).

As it draws on an original D200, it handles most F-mount lenses with ease. You need to trick modern E lenses away from their wide open state if stopping down is required, though.

Thanks Fons and Birna.

Thanks for the tips Birna, it needs  exploring a whole new world of filters I guess   ;)   (and step-up-step-down rings)

Just ask for tips on which lenses do suit a given purpose.

A very well documented excellent lens for the camera is 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 Zoom-Nikkor. Either the AIS or AF version can be used. They have 62mm filter threads and fetch comfortably low prices on the second-hand market. Another excellent lens for this camera is the 18-140/3.5-5.6 AFS Nikkor G. The latter takes 67mm filters.

Nikon O56 orange or a 590nm filter makes shooting emulated false-colour IR very easy with these Fuji models.

If there are more questions it is better to open a new thread on the Fuji UV/IR capable cameras?

Thanks for the Info.   That might be a good idea.

Wonderful minimalistic image that conveys well enough of the image of Canada for me.
