I was thinking "Cats...etc" as well as Hobbits but the flickr stream is full of *dogs*. Oh, well :-).

A Hobbit's home? I like it. There is a humorous touch to the postpox.

The construction of a 40m high Ferris Wheel for the occasion of the Kings visit on the 27th.     It will only be used as a 'restaurant' by the way. For snobs only I guess  ;)

You started it, Bill. I went for a little walk on a rainy day to check how Ike's was doing, in a local City trail. Plenty of feeders but Ike's was gone...but the first time I saw it was it was April 2011 so I'll cheat and put it at the bottom. Yes, #8 is nicer than my apartment and Ike's is supposed to be where Kirkland Nuts is. Maybe it's out for renovation. Again.

(and after a few edits I'm still fighting image size, at least the software doesn't know one picture is 6 years late)

I Like Ike's :-)

Birdhouses are fun and there are so many very creative ones out there.  I think I have a new mission when I get some time.  It just seems the older I get, the more work there is to do.  Retirement in 2 years will be nice!

The Ferris wheel looks completed. Rain is coming, and still pretty cold.

Beautiful shot of the Pleniflora John - a spring favourite of mine.

Fons - nicely composed portrait of the Lamas.
