Bob:

Love the rich colors, strong sense of texture and depth. Well lit.

The top one is my favorite, makes me think of a pair of long billed curlews hugging (wearing their fall outfits, of course!). You can even see the closed eye on the one facing us.

Cheers

Randy

thank you Randy... this is my first foray into painting with light.

I think I need to stop by some flea markets and antique stores to acquire some more subjects!

The first image is superb!  The choice of the objects (ornamental vegetables?) is excellent in the first place.

Lovely images Bob.
The first one is intriguing, but as a scene I prefer the second one

BOB:

I have used light painting over the years, and find it very satisfying. Subjects with texture are perfect for it, as you can really draw out that aspect.

Have fun.

thank you.. the problem is enough DoF, I really don't like f/14. what I really need to do is find a better place to setup and use a 135mm perhaps?
