yep... you can do that. but I always felt that the lens was too heavy for reversing in that way.  I was worried about bending the front threads.

It is built like a tank. It sits on my Actus solid.

Raeson I did not use mine and sold the 210mm + 240mm, just kept the 150mm

I do have a Nikon-F mount lens plate for my XL35; and I may (??) attempt to try this since the lens has just been sitting there, but it is very heavy = 1Kg. I would use a single step down ring for stability though.

Also I originally said the lens was sitting for like 8 years... it is more like 11-12 years.

well I took Michael's advice and reverse mounted the Germinar  67-52 step-down, BR-2a reversing ring to F-mount, Actus F-Mount board.
