Amsterdam Botanical Garden "de Hortus"
« on: August 02, 2015, 11:44:49 »
The smallest and least interesting Botanical Garden I have seen so far, a huge admission fee too, but still some photo opportunities.

Best Botanical Garden so far was in Cagliari, Sardegna. Must see!

Technical: all AF-S 1.8/50mm most @f=1.8 Nikon D600 Edited for depth in Photo Ninja on my uncalibrated notebook. No crop yet.

Beautifull flowers here !

Some of them I have never saw.

My favorite are :

#4 : Dalhia ?

#5 : looks like wild garlic, but with blue flowers;

#10 : Horsetail, I think. I like the graphic effect.

Thank you Francis. Quite happy with what I can do with  the
1.8/50G. I loved the 1.4/50G on the D3 but for the D600 resolution
was  to low. So I did the exchange. Very good idea and 100 Euro
cash to keep.

and as you can see in this last example of shot & crop where a tiny tree grows on a huge tree's bark, the dreamyness in stunning.

PS: good night. Was a long day.

I have stuff that looks like #1 growing in my yard.  They get really big.
