Close to the city
« on: May 11, 2020, 12:24:16 »
Up before sunrise. A short drive and then hike to my vantage point. I am overlooking Angarn Nature Reserve 25 km north of Stockholm centre. It is just before sunrise, a cuckoo to the west. No wind and 5°C. I set up my X1D with the Kipon T/S to record the magical moments. Here with the 80mm Planar.

Fascinating shot, spectacular scene. Almost, but not quite monochromatic. The warm color contradicts(symbolically) the report of cold temps at the scene.

Bent, Thank you. Sometimes you are rewarded for getting up early.

Keith, Thank you too. Colors are somewhat a taste. Look at the cold over the field at upper right, not yet sun kissed. The photo is developed in Phocus using the preset temperature of 5500°K. I also did this alternative in Lightroom using the reading from the White-Bal card of 7200°K. Then you really get an over worldly scene.
