Not rusty, just fence. The color of the soil behind is close to "rusty red" :)

Besides your photographic eye, it also looks like the “kit lens” has a very good quality image wise.

Thanks Bent! Walking more in nature currently and it is very addictive.

  The 24-70 f4S is sharp and very convenient size, focal length and close focus. I use it a lot for pictures and even more for video but...so far we are just very good friends  :D

A throw-back to the IR world of Kodak HIE film so many many decades ago, but now done in the digital domain with the NeX-5N Monochrome and a Voigtländer 25mm f/4 lens, filter is B+W 093 (Wratten 87C equivalent).

A quick test shot from my porch to evaluate whether the 25 CV would perform passably. It did.
