My daughter and I escaped to the near by sierra

Conditions were ideal, no moon, clear sky, low humidity, and nice cool 7°C, very welcome after we have been having 33°..35° days

The milky way was plainly visible even when just getting out of the car, with our eyes not yet used to darkness.

15 sec iso 6400 fuji x-t3 f3.5 @ 24mm
I intended to take the 20mm f1.8 lens and at 4:30am picked up the 24-85afs by mistake , still it worked quite well and it is easier to focus

The lilacs are starting to bloom and the hummingbird moths are back.  I love their tails! (D7100, 70-300 4-5.6 AFP, cropped a bit)

Had a chance to get back into our construction site and get a few photos. This is from the upper level looking across the building. Construction workers were back on site as of last week, but most people are still at home.

Nice one, Frank. Soft effect is well used.  One of the Zuiko lenses?
