Sadly many hundreds of thousands of our birds have been killed by the fires and the associated smoke - in fact some are now threatened as a species. 

Folks in fire affected areas have already commented on the lack of bird noise, even though the fires have by now passed on.

I see a little glowing around the body to the  right, a little too much recovery or enharncement.

I saw that halo too all around the left wing that was in
the shade but recovered… too large.
