It took the bird a good thirty seconds to solidify its grip on the fish and then quite an effort to get airborne as the fish probably weighed nearly as much as the bird.

I like the composition and angle of the subject with the outstretched right wing and the bird looking forward.

(But what hard work for a feed!  :)  )

Lovely shot.  The spray gives the image a fantastical look.
