It's the usual summertime chaos in the bear den ... if anyone should wonder why I'm not posting the simple answer is I'm otherwise engaged for the summer :)

The Z7 sits on one of my Nikon Multiphot stands with the Laowa 25/2.8 Ultra-Macro lens.

Impressive setup

After 16(!) years of daily use, my mobile started to fall apart. This, plus the need for having a control interface for my underwater ROV, necessitated my getting a new "smart" phone. "Smart" as in dumb and dumber. One spends more time trying to disable or remove the bloat and "assistants"  than using the device.

The setup is basically a modified Nikon Multiphot, to which I added a Stackshot rail and cold-light fixtures. The lens is the Laowa 25/2.8 Ultra-Macro (2.5-5X) which I actually purchased on a whim, and has proven itself very useful for my current project. Optical quality is  surprisingly good for a quite cheap lens.
