Got a Paeonia officinalis cut from the garden, and thought it could be used as a stillife.

I also for the sake of testing used my Linux laptop and Darktable to post this ;)

Obviously works :D

By the way, Photo Ninja runs just fine under Linux (tested with deb variants), RawTherapee is native Linux and so is Zerene Stacker. Add Hugin as a good alternative to PTGui, and Gimp as a passable alternative to Photoshop, and the straightjacket imposed by the other big makers can largely be avoided.

A case in point; today's macro shooting with Laowa 25mm f/2.8 Ultra-Macro and the Z7. Subject here are cross sections of the stem of  Potamogeton natans (Pondweed) done at 3.5X. The scene is about 6 mm across. All done on Linux using Photo Ninja and Zerene Stacker (apart form the final step of uploading to the web, on one of my Windows boxes).

The Laowa lens is a sharp performer, but I could do with less chromatic aberration.

How to you cut these cross sections so cleanly? Scalpel? Shaving Equipment?
