This is the type of landscape I'd like to take more shots of.

Now a peaceful landscape, this is the area (Monte Sole) where the Nazis killed 769 civilians in Sep.1944, and where I spread my father's ashes in 2016.

Gosh Massimo, a place that evokes such strong memories & emotions.
I've been in the mountains between Firenze and Bologna, but not as far north as here

These are being dugged into the ground - district heating is what people are crying for these days to replace their gas heating.
