Squeezing life from a bottle
« on: July 21, 2015, 21:13:33 »
I sure felt just as tired as this guy looked. Taken during a five-day hike in the iMfolozi game reserve, KZN province, South Africa.

Thank you Anthony and Elsa

Elsa, a bit of bad Dragan-effect helped that along.

Peter, I love the way the guy turned out, crispy sharp, excellent colors and contrast, the background blur is amazing, but i am not certain about the foreground covering parts of his face (i suppose it was purposely done).

Good point Jakov. While the image real matches the title and captures the feelings of a long, long, arduous day ... I would probably would have been an even stronger shot without the OOF head.

Thank you Jakov, that's a good point!
It was fortunately not done on purpose, it was a candid shot and I was in the wrong place. Focal length was about 650mm, so I couldn't move fast enough...

Will have to use a bit more forethought next time.
