Now a real Dutch Summer -  Warm and sunny switched with clouds and thunder, rain.

Repair constructions in front of central station.

While I'm awaiting the arrival of the Nikon mirrorless, I'll have to do with my pink J2 and the new lens, a Holga "1:8 f=20mm" for it. The Holga is a very simple plastic contraption with a meniscus lens element only, but it *is* pink thus matches the camera ....

Reality bites and household chores have to be executed.

We had a microburst in May that some called a tornado. What it did in my yard was bring some trees and large limbs down in the woods opening up new spaces for the sun to shine through once dark places.

The vintage 25cm f/4 Nikkor-Q from 1951 fits Birnas pink 1 Nikon J2 through the combination of an N-F tube (CPU-fortified) and the FT-1 adapter. I'm busy preparing myself for the upcoming encounter with the new Nikon mirrorless camera(s) and what new avenues and vistas these can open up.

This (admittedly mundane) test shot of a Scots Pine 100 m off Birnas veranda shows the old Nikkor still packs some visual punch. Handheld at f/4, 1/160 sec. It was blowing hard so some movement blur is detectable in the branches.

In Copenhagen the Pride Parade had a party today.
Fantastic fantasy put into the costumes.

Birna, it may be pink, as a lot of things where in Copenhagen today, but the old Nikkor is better ;)

Awesome set of images from everyone, the pride parade, the umbrellas, the horse, etc

I visit this place every so often, always a nice view, taken almost at noon, but the clouds gave a pleasant light
