Rick,
Thank you for some excellent insight into a country gone mad.

I´m with Robert. It is a troublesome post. It is disturbing to see how opposite messages can coexist. Powerful stuff. As stated before, is not a place to take sides or personal opinions but this images are inviting to to think and debate...at least. Chapeau!

You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Powerful disturbing set of images.

I doubt the gunslinger realises what a tosser he looks to this Englishman.

This thread appears to be in violation of, at  least, two points of the so called “guidelines”:

“Discussion of contentious topics such as religion, guns, or politics will simply will not be allowed.
Please do not try to push the envelope by clever rephrasing or allusions.
Infractions may result in a warning point and possible deletion of posts.”

I.e guns and politics.

But we are probably not all at the same level playing field.

Well, if only we, the viewers of this thread, limit ourselves to commenting on the images without starting verbal discussion, there should be of no problem.

I don't think Rick's intention of posting these images is to start such a discussion.

This was an event.  I shot it.  What you are viewing is what I witnessed.  In the original post, I made no political comment whatsoever.  I simply stated what the event was, where it was, and when it was.

Rick,
The photos speak for themselves. I don’t think there is any need to make any political statement, or start a debate.
I really enjoy your contributions.
