Cormorant Takeoff

Nikon D500 with 70-200mm f/2.8 VR at 200mm. 1/2500 sec. at f/7.1. ISO 3200.

I think you are right. I was thinking it is the anhinga that has the hooked beak and the cormorant the straight beak, but it is the opposite. I have edited my post title accordingly.

Thank you! The D500 makes it so much easier to get a good shot.  I thought my previous camera, the D7000, was  a great camera. But compared to the D500, it is a dinosaur.
