Mongo very much likes these beautiful and very real images of real earthy places. You have quite captured the essence of the places. Also, your choice of focal length was spot on for each of these

Beautiful colour and light, David (as usual), especially in #2. Both #2 and #4 are quite dramatic.
There is nothing like being in the right place at the right moment - and that doesn't just happen!

Mike - you know the old recipe for photographic success - "f5.6 and be there" - substitute f9 or 10 and that has been my motto for a very long time.
