Well there's no wonder: this is a shooting kit. ;D
Hugh_3170:
Gosh Robert, with that kit you had me thinking that you were a full time burgular and that photography was just an occassional activity. LOL

Take a second and check the length of your legs. I think you'll find one is slightly longer than the other from me pulling it.
This was taken many years ago for a humorous slide show to be presented at my photography club, and I just thought people here might enjoy it and get a laugh.

Both are similar in many aspects but both inspire different ways to show stuff. cannot really explain. Result is more emotional shots with the X100T. If I want to do street photography, the D600 & 1.4/105E is my friend, waiting for the coming "FX-Version of the D500" to replace the D600. Rarely I take the D3 out. The 1.8/85G is the perfect fit here. Summing up: I rarely carry more than one camera and one lens when I am not on duty. Professionally I take with me everything I need to get the job done plus backup, so three bodies and at least 4 lenses. No zoom in my bag.

Reading the old answer nothing has changes much. The D850 replaced the D3 and the D600 and I still love the D500 & X100T. Usually I take one camera / one lens.
Curretly the D850 with 1.4/58G is a favourite (difficult, but rewarding) or the D500 with the 1.8/85G (a dream team) or the X100T (great IQ very low weight & size). For my garden project I prefer the D850 with the 300PF on Dr-Lens-Extension of 23mm (converted converter).
