Bjørn, apparently your Humpty Dumpty doesn't need either king's men or horses to bother.

Splendid photo, Bjørn!

What was the aperture creating such nice depth of field?

Who are the members of the Chania expedition? Could somebody do portraits? Portraits in environment? (OK we got some of those but mostly environment) Selfies?

There are four of us: myself, 'elsid', 'bent hjarbo' and 'ghjarbro'. The number might seem small but we do manage to have a lot of fun nonetheless. Same story with people as with megapixels; a few go a long way.

Crete is, like most places in Greece I have visited over the years, all about colours. Plus amazing combination of settlements and the magnificent snowcapped mountains in the background.

This is from Paleochora, on the southern coast. Nikon Df with 24/2.

That gorgeous ice plant!

Someone hand their camera to another tourist to make a shot of you four. And we want to see more locations scenes. Crete looks beautiful.

Crete is a self sufficient island and exports to mainland Greece, Europe, USA and elsewhere many of the products produced here.
The most known: olives and olive oil, cheese(s), honey, barley rusks, fresh vegetables, avocados, herbs, poultry, meat (lamb, goat), to name a few that come to mind now (just had a delicious dinner with some red wine).
Chania, the Central market. All photos with the Df and the lens chipped by Bjorn yesterday, Nikkor 28/2 AI.
