Partial tone curve reversal - isn't it great to have a camera that can do a spot of solarisation on its own, with no available means of controlling what it does?

This is obviously an example of AI - Artificial Intelligence in photographic disguise :D

It is exhilarating! I´m catching presents from my new friend. She makes me work for it but she gave me this. I haven´t been so happy for a new image in a very long time.

All images are coming with a veil of haze and have to be heavily post processed. At this point I don´t know if it is the camera conversion -by myself-, the filter -type, cut by me, instalation-, the lens -nikon 50mm 1.4 G- or somethig else. This one of the few with some color in it.

I like the latest image, Paco.

The flare/ghost can occur according to the lens, the replaced internal IR filter or their specific combination.

Today was the day to try the 24-70 2.8. The day was as dull as they come and it started raining so this was taken from my balcony.

 There is a band of color in the upper top most of every frame

Even the occasional IR hotspot of the 24-70 came out as an enhancement of the image :D You must guard this camera as a true treasure, Paco.

   No worries, I have considered opening and rearranging her but it is now out of the question. It is cheap and easy to make an ordinary perfectly working ir camera and I may do just that leaving this one be, faults and all.

   If and when we finally get a chance to meet, I´ll introduce you all to her  8)

Great images! Very colorful!

You might look into which lenses are less hazy in IR,,, ;) just a hint ;) if you want to try something else

I haven´t even finished processing the images from today. I´m very very busy but still had to find sometime to shot in this new world. Crazy fun.


   24-70 2.8 nails the focus at short distances but not for far away objects. It is that normal? Also there is a hot spot in the center of the image but not always.
    Colors come and go as they please. I have to dig into the file to find out what is there. Yes!
