I've been off the net for some time dealing with building a house. Thanks for all the comments. The shot was taken at sunrise with the darner perched on a weed stalk. I used my most favourite lens in the world, the Nikon 200mm F/4 macro. It was taken from a tripod with a SB700 flash. Don't remember the settings but my usual is f/14 at 200. As with most nature shots about 99% luck.
